Today I watched a video teaching people how to do things you refused to do. It says that the nature of human beings is stay comfort, this really hit the nail on the head. It mentions 4 key points to help with the situation:

  1. understand it. It doesn't mean that you are lazy and bad when you resist to do something you should do. It's quit normal for all people.
  2. tell yourself "Let's just do it 2 minutes, we don't have to finish it". The hardest part is to start. Once you start the resistance will significantly relief. You will find you can't stop out of blue after you do the 2-minute work.
  3. 5 second rules. When you start to think about the mission, then start it in 5 seconds, don't give yourself time to overthink.
  4. reward yourself, but not too soon. DON'T reward yourself at the beginning, otherwise your brain will remember the feeling of being rewarded at the start. It will be harder to start the mission in the future.

Also, it have a advice to do some environment settings which relevant to your mission. Such as don't stay in your entertainment set, use tools that makes you feel nice to do the work, etc.
